Resident Services

Bristol Housing residents have two Resident Councils in which they can participate. Fort Shelby Resident Council (FSRC) serves the residents at Fort Shelby Tower. Edgemont Tower Resident Council (ETRC) serves the residents at Edgemont Tower. The scattered site Family Units have chosen not to form a resident council and may join the FSRC or the ETRC if they wish.

The resident councils plan and host dinners for residents centered around various holidays. They also plan weekly or annual activities for residents such as bingo, church services, business meetings and yard sales. Residents often gather to make craft items, do puzzles and participate in the distribution of food commodities.
